Nice Round-up Stoney as usual.
I would, however, contest the TOD value of the Ty Andros selections re: corn-based ethanol dominoes for although Mr. Andros gets the 'corn-based' ethanol distinction right, it remains painfully obvious that the author has resigned both himself and his audience to a blathering personal agenda sans factual reality.
The thing I find interesting about the biofuels coverage is the extent to which biofuels have attracted hedge fund financiers to agricultural commodity trading. The destabilization which seems to be the result could cause significant difficulties in the agricultural sector (ie boom and bust dynamics). The dash for biofuels may have sparked it off, but the issue is larger than biofuels alone. It ties in with the effects of excess liquidity in most markets at the moment.
If you happen to come across biofuels articles that you think TOD:C readers should see, then by all means send the links to me at the address on my profile and I'll run them in the next Round-Up.
